It's been a long and tiring week but I guess I can't complain because I'm having my holidays, some CIIs are having their EYE in two weeks time. The whole week of mentoring and rushing of administration manners had passed and of course my first IPC MC. Well I guess we all must learn from one another from the committee, how different people work and react to different situations.

Stepping out of my comfort zone and not regretting any moments.

I title this post “Memoirs of a CII Wanna-be”.
Stage 1, CII Wanna-be. Yes I signed up to be a CII, hopefully that’s the right decision! (So far so good, still new thought) Looking at my calendar now, it seems to be that everyday there’s something related to NPCC until the mid of December. I guess the next phase of my life will be study and NPCC!

IPC Trial Day really felt like living in my CIBTC days again (which isn’t too far back either) but with more confidence and more zhai (professional) people around. Kind of weird to have your CIIs as your mentors and you call them IC.

Anyway I am not going to disclose any further. :)

Happy 45th National Day!

And so I got my On Government Service letter last Thursday which address was to P/CI (NPCC) TAY MING WEI. I am sure by now many of you might know that I have been posted back to my previous secondary school. Some might be happy, others might not, whatever it is, since I am posted back I will contribute to the school by training the sec 3s to be better NCOs and prepare the 2s to be NCOs.School might not enable me to come back for training from the start till the end but whatever I have, I hope to inspire them. I think that’s mainly the job of a Cadet Inspector. Let them lead, learn and excel.
Let us guide, teach and learn.

Yesterday marks the end of my CIBTC however it’s also the beginning of a new position, Cadet Inspector. Kind of miss the time all the squad mates and group mates spend time together. Anyway I’m feeling satisfy because I know I gave my best during my ATC. Anyway, yesterday was my Investiture, I invited Alan and Wei Yang to don my rank.

A lot of reflections were written and a lot of new experiences encountered. A whole lot of soft and hard skills learned. This may sound a little weird, but I really enjoyed my stay in HTA and Ubin. Because I know what I was doing there and what I wanted.

3 MC, 6 RC, 4 ATC, 1 rehearsal and 1 investiture, you find that you know your squadmate for quite some time. Because 5am in the morning you are all already together and you will be spending your day together till 10.30pm -12am?
Everyone needs motivation somewhere and we gave one and other the support needed and push through our differences and ended as Cadet Inspectors today.

I don’t want to write too much, because if you want to find out more, you should be there to experience it. Overall, a wonderful learning experience!

On Thursday, I went HTA for my uniform collection, two sets of no.3 uniform and one set of no.1 uniform, thereafter, briefing about uniform etiquette. The reporting time was 3pm, but we were informed to reach there by 2.45pm. I reached there at around 2pm. Everything ended around 6pm that very day.

Friday, school starts at 12noon to 4pm. However I went off at 3.15pm after collecting my tutorial. Rush back to YSS to see my sec 4s POP. Went into the AVA sat there and listen to Wei Yang’s speech to the sec 4s, thereafter, a short presentation, followed by the Chairperson and the Vice speech.
Everything ended and they went for their handing over parade.

To my sec 4s, if you’re reading this, let me just say this, it’s my up most privilege to serve you since I was your NCO. The bond you guys created will last for a long time to come. Cherish the moment and the bond you have created. All the sweat and tears you been thru and all the wonderful times you had spent together as a squad and not an individual. I hope you guys enjoy everything during your four years! Strive high for your O levels!

So, now I have four CCAs. Thinking whether to quit some. It’s going to take up a lot of my time. Rock Climbing starts next week, with every Wednesday its training date. Saturday 10am to Sunday 9pm will be SPRC camp, should I attend? Went to YSS today to get my form signed, went to the bank and then went for a medical check-up. It’s all settled now.
Next Thursday, briefing at HQ and my new journey begins!

Besides my CCAs, CA1 are approaching! Damn. It’s only the fourth week of school. Modules that have announced that we are going to have our CA1 are Economics, Internet Tech & CRS. Have to dig into my notes, virtually on “blackboard” and start studying Ming Wei! (Blackboard is actually a website, something like E-learning)

I just joined Singapore Poly Civil Defence Lionhearter because I find it meaningful, but now I’m thinking whether I can cope. In Dilemma.

Poly has so much good food! You end up buying and eating and then you get broke!

My classmates and I have eaten at FC 1, FC 3, FC 4 & FC 5 in just 4 days! (FC means Food court) Well, found a lot of good food which are extremely cheap in comparison to those outside. Well, looking back at secondary food, it looks crappy now. I mean seriously, small portions, expensive and below average taste. (No offense to any sec sch vendors) At least that’s my secondary school. But I’m speaking from my heart. It’s seriously so much better! The Vendors are kind and gracious and the service is awesome!

There are Subway, KFC, Pizza Hut and Mac in SP! It’s also cheaper in comparison with other outlets!

Spoilt for choice in SP!

Beside’s all that, this week was really kinda slack. For the first week, I only have one tutorial assignment and a project work! Thank god I took Amaths, I need not attend an extra module, Basic Maths. I only need to attend 2 hours of school on Wednesday and Thursday!

Not forgetting, finally I got my student concession! For 30 days and 4 MRT ride per day, it only cost $43! Well, that’s way cheaper! At least it’s so much cheaper then $1.60+ per trip to school and another $1.60+ back home. No more 44cents ride. Sad*

Random fact, my mum went to Dubai last night and will be back on Sunday. Sent her off last night and took the last train from Changi Airport to where ever I lived. 1 hour plus! Argh! The travelling time is killing! Anyways my mum is on a business trip with Singtel.

There is also a 5n1 Class gathering on Sunday night! Most of my classmates are coming! At least that’s what everyone is saying. But well, there’s a big step forward!

School officially starts tomorrow!

My school requested all the freshie to do Flag day last Thursday, which all of us did. However I didn’t collected much money, in the end I donated my own money. LOL
After Flag Day decided to meet up with my FOC group, Voldemort and head over to the freshmen party but it was way crowed! The queue was all the way to the drive way. So we decided to have dinner together instead. EighteenCheif!
Friday, head back to school in the morning to collect my SGC and NPCC in the afternoon.
Saturday, actually there were plans to go for a Post Camp Activity at sentosa but went to NPAP instead. Well, NPAP was cool! Well done to the sec 2s!

SP ABE FOC was a blast!
Met up with one of my secondary school classmate, I Chun before heading to FOC. Reach there, everyone seperated into different groups, phone and wallets are also conficased. Well played those usual ice breaking games then head over to settle down at our bunks. Everyone sit there chit chat before lunch and the was some games, involving water. At night was blind folded and was lead to the field and have to roll around the mud, crawl and even crawling under the drain. A lot of stupid stuff but was fun!
(I threw away one set of clothes here, so did most man)

Second day,cheers & then games involving water again! A lot of fun stuff, I can’t remember now, however there’s this night walk. We were paired up and had to walk around the school ( Poly & Sec totally different) A lot of dark corners and all and the seniors were waiting there to scare us. Damn funny, exciting! Day ended at 5.30am
(there was this very dareing girl, she walked alone!)

Third day, cheers games and water activities. We change into our secondary school uniform for a purpose, because later on we have… anyway they had a SHEMALE fashion show and one guy from the group had to shave his leg hair arm pit hair all! The who catwalk thing was very R21! Super funny yet disturbing… But to end it all, we went to this room at 12 plus am which was a like a pub, everyone dancing till 4+am totally didn’t expect that!

Well, some of us decided not to sleep on the last night, chit chat all night long till 10am and off for breakfast, games cheers and a short video presentation of what happen thru the past few days. Photo taking and then all of our groupmates cam whore and went to T3 for drinks before heading home.

Overall, this camp was one of the BEST BEST BEST CAMP EVER!!

Went to the gym today to work out again. My last totally freedom week.
Next week onwards the the start of the Freshmen Orientation Camp & the following week would be my orientation itself.

There’s even a flag day in the last day of the Orientation, kinda weird. Well, that’s SP!
Need to shop for more T-shirts, a bag for my Laptop and a sports shoes. Mine is ancient!

Waiting for my laptop to be charge up before heading over to the piano.
Meanwhile I did some research on Poly concession and which I found this link, http://www.transitlink.com.sg/services.php?menu=services_menu.html&no=8.2
It state that the concession cost $43 for MRT and $50 for bus. Well, I need to get the concession done with as soon as possible, with my traveling cost well over a hundred this two months or so.

It’s the Chinese New Year week!
So, here I am, wishing everyone Happy Chinese New Year!

Alright this year CNY red packets were the lowest of all time, but it’s not always about the red packets! This season, I get to spend some quality time with my cousins! Eat those New Year goodies... Those all so mighty awesome goodies… aww…

Alright, today was kind of exciting!
It’s the time of the year again! UCC! Met the Boys Camp Craft Team and the rest 6.30am in North Point Mac. Well, Andika was late and the school flag was with him, so Mr Yeung had to ask the bus driver to drive as over to Andika’s place.

Syazwan, Faris and Me got off the bus and ran straight to his apartment 7plus in the morning and knock on his door. Seriously damn funny, all of us wearing PT running here and there and knock his door so early in the morning… Well eventually we got to Pierce Secondary School.

The boys team manage to complete almost all that was required but just that the flag wasn’t up.

After the Competition, went for breakfast and to funland with the sec 3s, 4s & Alan to play CS! 3 Hours, $6. It’s been years since I played CS but I still manage to adapt well. Haha HEADSHOT! Felt awesome!

Alright i'm back to blog! Been working lately and that's one of the reason for not blogging so frequently. Well i got my JAE results, it's.... Civil Engineering with Business @ SP. Didn't manage to get Business Management @ NYP, i guess the COP has dropped due to overwhelming responds.

So i guess it's a new chapter of my life, not kindergarten, not primary school, not secondary school but Polytechnic life. Classmates will be parted, secondary school friends will soon be separated, only memories will be carried forward.

I didn't manage to score what i expected.

Well, Humanities was totally unexpected, was expecting at least a A2 or even an A. Ended up with a B3.
English, i only managed to get a C6. Which was totally unexpected because i usually score at the range of a B4. Weird enough, someone who usually fairs the same with me in school got a B3 while i ended up with a C6. It's just so disappointed.

Which means, i can't enter the course i wanted to go to ouh so much. Human Resource Management with Psychology. Well, life's goes on, so do i.

Moving on.. I was like in between Mr Tan, Mr Hasiran, Mr Yeung and my Sec 4s. They came over to check out my results. Well after that Ms Lathika & Ms Rajas called to ask how was it. Aww man.. totally disapointing results...

The time is ticking..

On a lighter note, yesterday was secondary one orienation 2010.
Booth got set up in the morning, banners & posters were placed, Cadets in their smart Uniforms & we were ready to start.
Well, this time round, our booth was flooded!
May be because the school open to parents this time, the parents brought their children over to the booth. It's a blessing after all! After everything ended, brought everything up, clean up NPCC room and had a debrief. Left school at 2pm.

Went over to NP with NCOs and CIs for lunch and home after that.

Woke up late in the morning, wash up and went over to school... Missed breakfast, the most important meal of the day. Have a small meeting with the NCOs regarding tomorrow's Sec 1 CCA Orientation & then training begins! Start with drills, drills and more drills for tomorrow's performance.

Attendance have dropped because many were involve with the sec 1 orientation. Lucky there were enough man power. Dismissed the cadets early and went over to NPCC room to get the orientation logistic ready and went around the school to paste the posters with the NCOs.

Left school with the NCOs at 7.30pm. Went over to NP with them for dinner(which i only had coffee) and off home. Reached around 9pm and had two meals in a row! feeling super awesome! Well, that's my day for today.

Back from Chalet!

Well, this is one of the most DRAMA chalet i ever been to but definite not the last. How DRAMA it is, only those who went will know, it’s not be mention here. Well, because anyone can view my blog, duh!

First off, went over to meet Ka Hee, Wei Zhong, Jiemin, Beverley, Seow Keong at Yishun interchange and took off to Aloha Loyang. Went over to Marcus chalet on the first day, met Marcus & Yu Wen and her friend, went to rent a bike and cycled to the shopping centre area to play pool. After pool, we head off to package our dinner back to the Chalet. Played card games, board games, cycled & something, DRAMA begins! Slept at 7am ++ & woke up around 10am.

Day two, return bike, went out for brunch and went back to play some card games and then too the swimming pool for a few rounds of “monkey” game.
Started BBQ during the evening till around 9pm. Chit Chat, TCS. Watched a couple of ghost movies, went out walk around the Chalet and back to the room to TCS with the rest. Slept at 5am till 12noon.

Day three, woke up, pack, clean up, tidy up the place & waited for Marcus Sister to drive us KH, WZ & Me back to yishun. The rest had already left earning morning or early noon.

Went over to Northpoint for subway and went back home.
This is just a brief description of what had happened.

Well, overall this chalet was fun & a little drama yet interesting.
Got to thank marcus for his initiative to start this Chalet.

Happy Birthday Aziemah!

My day kicked off with meeting up Ka Hee at 11am to look for a present for the birthday girl. After which, went over to starbucks to grab a cup of white chocolate mocha and wait Seow Keong.

Went over to buy the gift after much look see.. met up with Eva & Suhai, then Adli & Zaily.
Went over to Aziemah's block and waited for Hakim. Aqidah brought her Aziemah down and SURPRISE!

Seow Keong started swapping cake on to the girls faces. lmao
After that, went over to the coffee shop for brunch and chat till around 4pm.
By the time i reached home, it was around 5.15pm.

& so, this is how i spend my NEW YEAR EVE! ( at least till now)

It's 1.49am in the wee hours of New Year Eve and i'm still feeling strong and active.
I guess this is the result of 14 hours of sleep on the previous night.
Well, since it's New Year Eve and also the last day of 2009. It's time to party like wild animals!
Not too hard for those who are attending school in a few days time.

I'm so bored now, ouh so bored.
Just did some reading and now, there ain't any show on TV now. My bike tire has no AIR AIR...
BORING is the word to use now.
What should i do? Shall i go out for a jog? Shall i just be a couch potato?
awaits the morning to arrive.... however, i will still miss 2009.

As i was saying on my last post, went to bugis, saw the things i wanted to buy but i think i shall wait a little longer, no need to rush now. i slept from 4.30am - 9am the other day and i slept 14 hours last night. super uber siok! It's been a while since i ever slept that long. Wonderful!

Sec 3 gathering was however canceled due to some last minute pop ups. Ouh well, next time then.
No worries.
Tomorrow, would be the eve of new year & also Aziemah's Birthday. I will be spending my morning with my buddies searching for last minute present. Oops =X because something happened.
After that we would be heading over to her place to give her a surprise birthday celebration kindly planned by Eva.

Just hope she won't read this post till tomorrow afternoon.

After the birthday celebration, the rest have their own programmes, so i guess i would be a boring evening for me. Ouh well... i think i'm gonna go get some food to feast at home tomorrow then!

3 Days before 2010
How time flies over the course of this holiday period.
Anyways i went over to school today (again) to meet up with the sec 3s to check on the Sec 1 Orientation. Work is at least 75% completed except for some printing and finalization.

Overall, we met up 3 - 4 times for this Orientation, GOOD!

After that, we headed for lunch and movie at Yishun GV. Alvin and the chipmunks 2.
The movie was alright la, may be i lost interest in movies like this.. ouh well, that's what happens when you get older. ( I guess )

After that headed back to school again to meet up with SK & KH to help ms rajas to shift her things to Canberra Primary School. So gonna miss her presence. Anyways we went over to CPS, well the school looks a little run down with most of the fitness corner sealed of due to maintance work or something. Banches are already lossing it's colour. Any old how, we went over to CP with ms rajas & mr hasern for a drink and chit chat for about two & half hours before leaving at 9pm.

Went over to northpoint with SK to walk around to check out some clothes and went over to mac to talk a little before leaving for home. And that's how i spend my 4th last day of 2009.

Tomorrow i will be heading to the gym with KH and Mozy then to jurong point for our usual after gym brunch. SUBWAY! After which we will go home for a change of clothes before heading to bugis for clothes hunting. (Holding onto my spear, SPARTANS!) And that should be my 3rd last day of 2009.

Had a NPCC BBQ yesterday!

Woke up in the morning, still feeling sick.
Drag myself out to the bus stop and stood there for the bus.
Reached SSC at 1245pm and waited for the rest* till 1.30pm
* Syawan, Faris, Jasmine, Zaily, Alan.
Went into Giant to get the BBQ stuff and went over to the Taxi stand to wait for the rain to lighten a bit. The rest took the taxi to sembawang park while Syawan and me when over to Sun Plaza to buy ICE & mushmellows for the BBQ.
Took the bus 882 to the park to meet up with the rest of the gang and walked towards the nearest shelter. Guess what? We spotted YTSS people, well they spotted us first, they could even recognise me from SANA & Alan from ATC.

once again, waited for the rain to lighten even further before we start.
Soon after, Hakim & Khairul came and the 4 of us, Zaily, Khai, Hakim and me went over to start the fire. Cool ehh!

Soon after, Nurul, Shahida, Sabreena came.
Huiting, Michelle & Andhika came.
Hermen came
Wei Yang, Sheng Yang & Daniel Came.
Viknesh came.

Well we BBQ till 10pm and off we went.
The sec 3s went home of course, while Zaily, Khairul, Hakim & me went to hang out a little while before heading home. Feeling even worse when i got home. The Flu virus start attacking my immune system.

Overall i it was a fun BBQ session and bonding session. Great stuff, we should do it again next year! XD

Reece at Ubin has come to a close during last Saturday’s trip.
Monday has brought together classmates for a game of Badminton.
Preparation of the NPCC camp has also come to a close during late tuesday night.

Friday was of course the Ubin trip
Saturday was SANA Training Cum Gathering
Sunday was my one and only day at home, having some alone time to reflect my week.

NPCC camp has ended, the sec 3s has completed their mission, at least till the preparation of the sec 1 orientation begins.

Ubin trip was canceled due to bad weather, however it was alright. Back up plan was flag up and orienteering begins. After which, went to have our lunch with some sec 3s and a few CIs at Seoul Garden. A few left and we started talking having some man to man talk. Talk like we were all man and our problems and stories. A talk between Alan, Faris, Syawan, Andika, Vincent & me. The content of what we talked about during an 8.5 hour process will remain secret and and not to be mention to anyone. From Seoul Garden we talked till Mac and till at least we left at around 10.20pm.

Well, I think this is one of those good long TCS everyone has been missing for a long time due to studies and time constrain.

This week has drawn to a close and here comes the new beginning of a brand new week.
Our Christmas week.

This holiday, it's been greatly involved in NPCC matters.
Well, nothing much i can say about those trainings since it's been publish in varies blogs of my cadets.
So if you are interested to find out how it went, please refer their blogs.
However i must add this, I learnt to play the piano! well ok it's just vivdly but thanks to my cadets for teaching me!

Moving on, this sat i will be going to the beautiful island of Pulau Ubin to bring the NCOs for recce. Hope it won't rain, since it's not been raining this couple of days.

In addition, i have completed 75% of my class video! However aren't sure when would it be shown since the class BBQ is still unconfirmed.

After reading my cadet’s blogs (sec 2s) I shall dedicate a post to them.
I must say I enjoyed teaching you guys and I hope you guys had too.
I went to training today again, found myself teaching the sec 2 squad most of the time.
Well it was fun, while they learn, I refresh too. While they bond, I bond too.

You guys made my day, as you always did, you guys are one of the most hyper squad I had taken so far! Cheers! Ok of course the sec 3s too. After all this trainings and study groups I believe I communicate smoother with them, especially to the NCO squad since I’m been away for quite some time due to the O level examinations.

You, Sec 3s, if your reading this now, GOOD JOB!

The rest of the training background I shall not add, since everyone who attended today said the same old stuff.

Prom Night has ended.

Let's just recall what had happen on the 27th, Friday.
Went over to the IT fair with my family because my sister wanted to purchase a mac notebook.
After which went over to Airport to have swensen. Awesome stuff they got there.
Went home and out for dinner over at bottle tree village.
My mum treated her workers $485. Woah!

Ok so on the fateful day on 28th nov. Prom Night Head over to Marcus house in the noon with WZ.
Slack a little while, change and off to chervons with Mozy, Emily, SK & WZ in Mozy's dad car.
Went over there, met with KH and KY.

Went into the ball room to have our dinner, some performance, photo taking & Dancing.
After all that, we headed for supper and went off to Marcus house for a movie marathon.

Well, here i am again. Back to blog about the latest happenings.
Firstly, I shall say that the SANA Night was a blast! Mr S.R.Nathan, your President came for the dinner & so was his wife, Mrs Nathan. It was so cool!
Before the dinner even started, I went to help out at the security post with vik to spot those VIP cars and of course, our beloved President. Soon after the car arrived, we went up for dinner. We had a few course before it came to the dance. The theme was 70s. I was asked to dance, well I just dance a few steps and went back to my seat. Sorry pals. I was very bad with the coordination.

Monday wasn’t much except that the part Jiemin, Marcus, Ka Hee & me went to catch 2012. It was awesome! Btw do you guys know there’s a Singaporean actor in the film?
Go find out who’s the actor.

Any old how, I went back to the Unit on Tuesday for the group studying thing and rush down to SANA for the course. It was the last day of the course till at least march.

Wednesday went shopping with Wei Zhong, Eva & Ka Hee over at Causeway Point and then to Yishun. Spend $98 over at G2000 to just get the top and the bottom. The rest I shall borrow them from KH. No point spending so much money. At least for now...
After that JJ, Aziemah & Seow Keong came over and we had some catching up at Burger King. Not long later, all of us left for home.

Thursday! Basically it was kind of a slacking day at home. Didn’t do much except facebook-ing and gaming.

Friday, needa get back to unit for the study group thingy again. So ya... here come over.

Finally! IT's OVER!!

I'm so glad O Levels are OVER!
Last paper was Science MCQ paper and all hell break lose! It was the last paper of my entire Secondary School LIFE! I can't just use words to express the joy within me.
In addition, there's around 5 months of Holiday! O.o!

After the paper, I went over to Marcus place with a few of my buddies.

Today, SANA all the way till evening and when over to catch a movie with kh all at orchard but only to find it sold out. Trained back to Causeway point and the result was the same. SOLD OUT.
Anyways going to catch that on Monday since i don't have to attend SANA.
2012 there i come!

Tomorrow, SANA all the way till evening and after that, SANA Night.
The theme was meant to be 70s but nah i just wear a casual formal will do!

Saturday, Gym Swim Home BBQ Cycle all night long! Long long day!

Sunday will of course be my resting day.

Something that i want yet, i don't necessarily need it.

A DSLR!

However it cost a bomb! Checked the price of the SLR, it ranges from $1200 - $1900. Unless i work, i don't think i could afford it. Here's when the holiday jobs come in! But, do i really want to spend those money on it? And would i really take it as an hobby?

This are just two of the things in list of hundreds of points to be taken into consideration.
Firstly i don't even know whether i would be working. Most likely i would, since i going to spend hundreds of dollars during the holiday. One of which would be the Prom night. Activities like Chalet, BBQ, Cycling, Camp & may be kayaking.

One month had past since I last blogged but man, my O levels isn’t done yet.
MT & Science MCQ paper to go next week and I’m free! I’m so exhausted from all this mugging, especially with those days with double subjects, like physics and geography.
But I must said I gave in my very best, no matter what happens I know that’s the shot I have sore for and that’s the results I’m going to get. Addition Mathematics would be a goner for me because of the extremely difficult paper. Paper one would be a big loss of marks.

Anyways two subjects left, MT and my science MCQ but I think I won’t really bother about MT since I really terrible in it. What I am looking forward now is to get all my papers over and done with and allow those freaking holiday activities to flow in like water.

First off, get back to SANA to help them out, gym BBQ & Night riding to CCK cemetery just for the first week. The rest should be kayaking, shopping for prom, cycling, chalet, BBQ and more activities. I’m wondering whether I should actually work during the holidays. For a month may be.

Ah, I am also creating this video for my class to be played during the BBQ at my form teacher’s house. Currently still working on it, should be able to finish it just after prom night. So below is a short preview of what’s to come.

Anyways, Happy belated birthday to Marcus! KH, Sk, Emily & myself celebrated his birthday today at Sakae Sushi. It’s the 3rd year running since we have celebrated his birthday at Sakae. Well all I can add is, I got broke after the buffet.

Sometimes I would look forward to a brand new day, sometimes i rather to be still be on this very same day. The only reason why I'm thinking in this matter is because O level is near. It gives me the creeps. The eerie feeling lurks in my mind whenever i stopped studying or having a break. I'm getting a little insane now. Pro-long exposure to revision i must add.

In additional, I have been spending this weekend morning meaningfully by staying at 8am at mac drive thru with my study buddy, kh. However, my noons were not properly utilize because to be honest, I'm rather lay back in the noon.

I still have a long way to go but time shortens every single second, every letter i key in. Also during this time of revision and revision only, i also learned to put everything aside. I even isolate myself the whole of last week to study at home alone. Which proved to be beneficial.

Went for Liang Liang's Chalet over the weekend to celebrate his birthday.
BBQ, Cycle and Chat the whole night long, end up not sleeping at all and only slept on sunday afternoon. Which i must add it was fun and a memory i won't forget anytime soon.

Today, went to watch movie with sk,kh,marcus & the two girls and after that we played badminton for the whole afternoon. Overall, it was a average. Tomorrow, going to go to the Army Open House!

To think of it, i'm losing two days of my holiday just like that. My study plan is kind of disrupted now. I need to continue to stay focus and end my prelims with a good knot.

My Day back to the unit.

The last post was on National Day but today’s post is on Student Leader Passing Out Ceremony. Alright, let me type down what had happened today. Once school ended, sk, kh, Mozy and me went up to 4e5 to celebrate Ka Yee’s Birthday. Yes, the “Mr Yishun Boy”. Lol

It was a mad “party”, sharp screams and flying bottle caps filled the room. After that, I went over to NPCC Room and just waited for the parade. In which, I didn’t attend…. Went over to KFC and had my lunch and back to school, command the sec 3,2,1s for a while and up to the hall for the finales.

Took over the camera from Faris and started snapping photos around. Actually, I ended up taking photos for the rest of the day. Once I got the photos, I will upload them since SLR was Diana’s. The SLR cost over $2k. Shall get one of those in the future!

So, keep a look out for my Facebook, shall upload those photos ASAP.
BTW, for those who wonder why i haven't been back to the unit recently, i'm having mock exams for this two weeks and after that will be the start of my Prelims and my O levels.
Therefore, i ended up using those fridays studying, just like last year at least. =)

National Day Eve.Manage to pull my self out of bed that day to attend the National Day Eve celebration after having high fever for the whole entire week. Reached school early and went over to the control room, set up the stuff and start working together with MOZY, IC & Dinesh for the entire "Don't Forget the Lyics" segment. Every thing went well and was up to expectation since it was a success! Went down to the backstage and celebrated the birthday of Singapore and those born on August on Stage. Straight after that, I went over to the Rock wall to be the role of the Belayer till the whole enterprise day ended. Really been a busy day I must say, but it’s the last year, so why not! =)

There are loads of things i want to do now, but time can't be spared for this at moment in time.
Prelims are up within 44 Days and O level is not far either. I will strive and work harder to catch up within this few days and limit my slacking time. The agony!

Roughly two weeks left to National Day and my class is going to organise a celebration for it.
If everything goes well, H1N1 ease and MOE allows mass gathering to take place then yes we can do it. If not, well, too bad.

Study comes first at this point of time ya!
Talking about study, i ended up walking under heavy rain in the morning to school. When i reached school, i was totally wet. Anyways it's alright, the rain wasn't that bad. =)

Another Simple Sunday

Let me start off with the present I got today from my tutor, thanks for the socks from Hong Kong. My tutor just went to Hong Kong over the holidays and got me a pair of socks for those who are wondering. So thoughtful of you!

Now, I’m just thinking, when should I wear it? What should I wear it with? Lol
Nevertheless, I thank you for you kindness!

And I’m feeling a sense of satisfaction with myself. I have collected a somewhat complete set of old Singapore notes. It took me years, so I guess this is one of my hobby?

A secondary two student from my school has been infected by the virus, H1N1.
People around him are serving the week long home quantine and the school has taken up measures to prevent the spreading, so I assume its fine now.

It’s the end of the first week of school and it’s all going well, more catching up to do and also tons of effort is needed. There isn’t any school on Monday, since it’s Youth Day, Ice Cream will be given on Tuesday (Info from HOD People Welfare).

Nothing much has happened today except while I was cycling home from Sembawang Shopping Centre, I saw this chubby dude cycling slowly on the lane, so I decided to overtake him since he was kind of slow. I cycled to the grass patch and overtake him, till I was about to cross the road, he overtake me and I overtake him again. Meanwhile, I waited at the cross junction while he decided to just cycle across, not knowing that a big truck was approaching. The driver horned him all the way, and that chubby guy started to panic.
Green Man was lit and I started to cycle, he was already quite a distance away. I decided to cycle and catch up with him. Soon, I was just beside him again! Lmao I turned home and he went towards Sembawang Beach. It’s was like a race. Two words Fun! Cool!

Ouh wait! There were Fireworks Display by the US Naval Base! This was done to commemorate 4th of July Independence Day. Guess what, I could watch it at the comfort of my own home! haha

Many things happened this few days, school has restarted, SANA has ended, my mum is discharged from the hospital and all things are going back to the normal boring school days but every thing is going fine so far. CAs are approaching like bullet trains, one after another swiftly.

Dear all, thanks for your patients waiting.
I’m been busy this whole week and therefore online less frequent.
My mum has been hospitalize since last Thursday for Lung Inflammation and I had been trying to visit her after SANA at the evening.
It’s been really a hectic week for me now, been trying to visit her as much as possible.

Anyways I just spend my whole week with SANA and visiting her at Mount Alvernia Hospital. On an average, I spent 4 hours per day traveling to and fro by bus; just imagine the time I could use to do something else.

FYI my tagbox may have some problems, so if it state that “you are ban” just ignore it, come back another day.

(The bike that accompanied me through out the journey)

First off, let me just talked about 10th June 09. A journey that Eva, Marcus, Ka Hee, Seow Keong & me took. All of us went cycling to the Prata House at Upper Thomson road.

We met at the school gate and then started cycling towards the Prata House which was a little tough because of the gradient of the road. But manage to maintain my pace at the second or third position along the way.

While the two love birds are cycling together behind Marcus & Ka Hee.

Along the way, we stopped at Nee Soon Camp for a break and then off to a bicycle shop for one Eva’s bike maintenance. One of the shop assistance was one of our school teacher’s cousin.

After that was more or less all the way to the Prata House. Ate the Mushroom Cheese Prata which cost $4 per piece. It was kind of expensive. The prices of different types of prates wasn’t listed on the menu, therefore I wasn’t aware of the price.

After having our late lunch, we head off to Lower Pierce and then to Upper Pierce and off to Mac Drive Thru for a break before we head home.

Total distance for me was around 30km. ( including the distance home)

Welcome back to read this extremely long post.

Let me start my week long hectic life, Monday O level MT. Tuesday NPCC .22 revolver shooting competition. This two took up my first two days of holiday.
Wednesday was the Start of KISS Camp aka TAF Camp. Went there by 1pm, walk around the hall first and went down to play Frisbee with the sec 4s.
After a little while Mr Chan came and I went to take the loud speaker and went up the hall. The first few hours of the camp was kind of boring for the sec 4s & 5s since we don’t have any job because there were sec 3 appointed leaders.

Suddenly, I was asked by Mr Tan to accompany Mr Chan to Vivo Giant with 3 other sec 3 leaders. Actually I wanted to stay back in school to play but since I was in charge of the programs last year I had to go down to teach the sec 3s. Went there for dinner first, treated by Mr Chan and went to get some work done at Giant.
Some idiot lady thought I was working there and asks me how much the item was, I told her I didn’t know and she even asked me to assist her. I look at her and told her:” I don’t work here!”

After everything was done, went back to school and get some admin work done at the PE staff room, worked there from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. Called SK and asked where were they, they told me they were long gone. Some even have reached home. They thought I went home early. Lucky Mr Tan allow me to stay overnight and go home the next morning. Went to shower at the staff toilet and put my things in the teacher’s staff room 1.

Talked with the teachers and then they decided to sleep around 1am so I went over to ask Eva out to talk. Some people saw me walking alone and thought I was some ghost, so they started running! -_-
Talked with Eva and some sec 3s leaders until around 3am and went back to the staff room for some sleep. Kept waking up until 6am I decided not to sleep anymore, went to walk around and than PT.

After PT, I rushed home, shower and get my books ready and went over to meet Ka Hee at Mac for breakfast. After that went for English lesson and went over to Vivo Giant to meet up the campers. Ate our lunch and chose our amazing race checkpoints. I chose the Henderson wave because it has the best view there. Walked up the hill and all and stood there until all four teams done their activity at my station.
After which, went back school, played a little Frisbee with the sec 4s & 5s, dinner and the start of “Prison Break” activity.

Ms Rajas brought her boys to school, talked a while and went over for debrief at the staff room. Stayed at school till 11pm and went home.

Day 3 reached school at 7.10am and then wait for them to end their breakfast and then bunk cleaning and the start of “extreme sports” the 4 activity. After that was the water bomb activity and the prize giving. End of camp!

Went to clear the area and went to the staff room to chit chat till around 3pm and off to home.

Yesterday was a crazy day, today is a recovery day and why did I say that?
Yesterday we had Sports and Artz Carnival in school, I was asked to be the conductor for the Frisbee activity by Mr Muru. I went to school early in the morning to set up the cones and all with the help of a few others.

Went back to report and mark my attendance and went over to the field to wait for the arrival of the teams. I was chaotic! Lower secondary teams came in late and I had to make arrangement and example to other teams what happen. I got to even participate in with our 5N1 team. The members are Eva, Debby, Jabez, Wei Zhong, I Chun, Ka Hee and I. we got 1st runner up for the upper secondary Frisbee.

Great Job everyone! Even thought the gold medal looks great but a saying goes, “think of what you got, not what you don’t”, just be glad you got something right.

After that, packed up the logistic and went up for the concert. After the concert, there were three things that went on all in one go, my NPCC meeting, TAF Camp briefing and my class photo taking. So I went for the NPCC meeting first then went over to the TAF Camp briefing and back to the NPCC meeting since all was on going in the hall. Madness.

After that photo taking and I got a call from Mdm Ganda, asking me to participate in the .22 revolver shooting competition and I have to go to HTA for a dry shoot at 2.15. looking at the time, I told her, I’m in my Class T and shorts now and the time is not enough for me to travel to and fro my house. Went to meet her outside the staff room and took a taxi home, shower and out of the house. Lucky the timing was pushed back to 3pm, I went to the TAF camp meeting first and then off to the dry shoot. Went to HTA and off to the dry shoot at the range, released and reach home around 7pm. I was already so exhausted and dead beat.

I got myself a pizza from pasta mania and had it as my dinner. The whole day I only ate a burger. So a pizza was the top my list to satisfy my hunger.

O level MT is on Monday =S
Competition is on Tuesday
K.I.S.S camp on Wed to Friday and in-between I will be having lessons in the morning.
& there goes my first week of holiday.

I thank you for your warm support, my Blog now has surpass the 10 000 mark and as of now, it is in its 10 112 mark. I will try to update when it is possible but don't bring your hopes up, I’m having my MT O level next Monday, 1st June 2009.

Currently we, sec 4E 5N are having intensive MT. Since last Friday till today, we had MT lessons from morning till noon, which is of course the whole school day. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be but it was kind of tiring I must add. Any old how, I can feel that the intensive MT lessons are helping me and my MT is gradually improving. As a saying goes, “One Step at Time”. I want to take this chance to take Ms Fan for giving her all in teaching us, trying to understand our position and the small treat today.

During the June Break, I’m going to be kind of busy. Actually it’s going to be really busy. First Week I’m going to have my MT O level taken, extra lessons and helping out at the TAF camp. Second week I’m going more extra lessons and the poly attachment. Third and Fourth week will be devoted to SANA of course.

Outstanding All Rounder Student Award (OARs Award)

Last night, together with Ka Hee, Eva & Debby, we all went to AMK Grassroot Club collect our Certificate. Ms Rajas has something popped up and was unable to turn up for the night, so we ask along Eva to help us to take some photos. Thanks!

After we reached, we had our buffet dinner which was so much nicer than our school's John Cafe.

We went to register ourselves and collect the cheque and went to the ceremony hall for the prize giving session. Suddenly, Mr Apollos appeared right infront of us, how nice of him to tag along!

There were nearly 200 prize winners from Primary, Secondary, JC, Poly & even ITE. It very big event indeed, infront of us were some Sports School student.. Cool! After everything ended, we took some photos with Mr Apollos and he drove us home. Thanks sir!

And that was about it for my friday which i didn't go NPCC, now you know the reason why i didn't attend. But it least i came to just check you guys out. =)

Currently my blog has been visited 9913 times since i set up the counter thing at the left side of the blog...
Now the question is.. who will be the lucky 10 000th Viewer!!

Today I went for the NPCC photo taking session which I think will be the last time I will be wearing my Full Uniform, at least till my O level MT ends.
So above is a picture of my cabinet with my NPCC uniform stuff.

Anyways back to my academics, I scored an A1 for my Combine Humanities 84%.
It’s the only A1 during this mid year. My science which I mention the other day was pulled down by chemistry to a B3.

I must thank Mr Victor Chia for providing me with the skills and the notes. My Combine Humanities have changed to Ms Lakiga, which was my past year teacher.

Tomorrow onwards till end of this term, my lessons only consist of MT from 0750 to 0150 daily. It’s going to be hell on earth! I would eventually get bored with the lesson and just fool around.

Anyways let me break a good news, tomorrow I will be going to AMK CDC Grassroot Club with Ms Rajas, Ka Hee & Debby to receive our award. Ms Rajas have agreed to come along! Thanks! Haha

Day 1 of school after the mid year examinations…

It was a short day today, there wasn’t any achievers or extended lessons at the end of the day. But today, the main thing was I got back quite a number of papers.

Firstly, I got back my Science Paper 1 (Physics & Chemistry) & 3 (Physics).
This resulted to a score of 70% so far, not adding up my Chemistry which would pull down my A2 to at least a B3 or worst. I’m kind of worried right now I must add.

The second paper I got back was my Additional Mathematics, which I failed! D7 44/100 if I remember correctly. I am going to buck up my Additional Mathematics!

My two Language paper was terrible, I did those papers within the two weeks I was sick, high fever and all.
I failed my Chinese & the only person who fail in my class D7. My Chinese seems to be beyond hope right now. I failed by 1 mark which meant that I got a 49% score.

I pass my English paper but my marks were the worst I ever got. 18/50 for Paper 2, lucky my paper 1 pulled it up and I pass with just a 50.0%. Many others in my class got 50.0% and 51% while the highest was Debby, 63% if I remembered correctly.

All I’m looking forward to is humanities results!

Day 3 of Exam-Free

Day 2 of Exam-Free

Went Cycling today, this is of course my usual track (the picture above).
Rounding it off, it would be 7KM.
After that, I calculated the longest track around the neighborhood so far, 13KM cool! =)

Having a bike is just so much fun =) you get to cycle yourself to discover places you never been to.
Recently I cycled to a foreigner Dormitory and wow! It was an eye-opener! There were tons of bikes chained outside the building and lots of foreign workers standing around.
Many of them were cramped into the small compound, such living conditions was a sad sight.

This shows how bless are we to live in our sweet homes and still you see people being “emo” just because of small matters.

In conclusion, a bike can enlighten you with morals and values! So what are you waiting for? Start cycling today! =)

PS, if you’re a girl, don’t cycle to isolated places alone, get a buddy.

Exams are finally OVER!
Well at least for the time being.

I’m having my 4 & a half day break and been trying to enjoy it as much as possible since the O Level MT examinations are on 1st June. After the exhausting two weeks of examinations I am mentally exhausted. Jaded I must say!

Yesterday after the exams, I went to have lunch with Ka Hee, Marcus & Seow Keong at NP and everyone went off to Marcus house to play a little soccer and Wii.
Many of us were playing Wii for first time and there were tons of funny moments like the dancing with the remotes but I shall not elaborate how it went, it was just simply hilarious!

After that I went off and reached home around 8.20pm. Was watching television till around 12 and I started to doze off, only started to woke up and pull myself to bed. The funny thing was that I was dreaming and there were dead people all around me and coffins in my dream! I remember standing at the top of the building and seeing a single file of vehicles transporting to the same building I was standing at.
I woke up being puzzled! lol

Anyways I have been craving for pizzas ever since my day started! Going to have my dose of Pasta Mania’s Hawaiian Pizza soon!

I need pamper myself with appetizing food now! XD

It's Friday!

So far i done my EL, MT, Chem and Geo papers.
I been relaxing the whole day after a long tiring week of studying both at home and at Mac.
Getting sick during an exam period is really terrible, drowsiness and all.

Anyways hopefully the relaxing today would allow me to move on and study smoothly for my Social Studies tomorrow fully energize.
I got 3 Days to cover everything! 'Governance', 'Health care', 'Conflict', 'Diplomacy and Difference' & 'terrorism'.

Adding on to that, Phy and Amath to practice too.

Blame myself for all the last minute work, like always. Some says, old habits never dies.

Anyways all those night riding helped me to de-stress in this critical time.

My Temperature this morning

Seem a doctor today, got lots of medication.
Last Sat i got Flu and Score throat
This Sat Fever, Cough, Score throat, Flu

The Doctor say may be the medication wasn't strong enough and therefore he gave me an even stronger one & got excuse from PE on monday.
Won't be playing soccer this few days nor ride my bike =(

Had a tough time sleeping last night, my dry throat and headache was a killer.
but i was too lazy to get up and get some water from the kitchen so i just stayed in bed until 8am and dash out for water and the green bean soup my mum made =)

Planning to revise my Geo today! hopefully the medication won't make me too drowsy =P(Some random EL oral paper)The place where i wait for my bus to school daily.

My English papers are done! Well, at least for now.
I must say that the papers were tough and whether I could pass or not, I not really confident.
But a saying goes, what’s done couldn’t be undone, so there’s no point being bothered about it.
Anyways it was kind of a waste of time waiting for my Oral Examination today, had to wait from 1.20 to 4pm which then was later extended to 5pm, only started my Oral at 6.10pm and reached home around 7.30pm. What a long, long day!

All I got to do now is keep moving forward and start mugging on my other subjects.
Starting my intensive studying at ‘Mac Drive Thru’ from tomorrow onwards with my pal, Ka Hee. Anyone interested to join the group do text me =)

It’s been a while ever since I blog-ed and since it’s English paper 1, 2 and oral tomorrow, let me write a more appropriate post.
Last Thursday and Friday, I get a chance to play paint ball and cycle at East Coast Park.
Photos won’t be uploaded now nor anytime soon because it’s an exam period and I’m still turning on my computer and surfing the net. [Tsk tsk...]

Anyways putting this aside, recently many states have been strike by the Swine Flu which is said to be more deadly then the SARS, so people out there please maintain good hygiene and stay healthy.

Speaking about this, I just got the viral infection recently. Gosh! But it’s alright, I’m feeling much better now, except some occasionally coughs here and there. So people out there, don’t worry, it’s not Swine Flu.

Exam Period starts from tomorrow onwards and so, please if there’s any important email or stuff, please contact me via text to inform me to check my email.

I ROD!

again...

Some must be wondering.. why again?
It's because i RODed last year too.

This year, it was so special, i get to be the contingent commander.
4 Station Inspectors took the 4 contingent of around 24 men & women each.
I was taking Contingent 3 at that time, was kind of nervous, every single one of them in my contingent were Staff Sergent.
Lucky everything went fine during the parade and thrown the beret once again.

Went around the school, meet some new people, some were sec 4s, only 2 of them which are from sec 5s.
Ok, some of them were even having their Station Inspector interview today, talked to them for a while, cause they wanted to know how is the interview and how is it like being an SI.
A few CIs came to talk to me too, asking some stuff and all.. quite interesting... Then went up to the hall and cheered for the sec 1s for their Games Day! Quite fun!
we got second among 9 schools if i'm not wrong =)

ok, I decided to just go for the Area R.O.D as an Station Inspector
It would be my last ROD in my secondary school life and i do hope it would be another memorable one.

Last year, Mrs teo and Mr qeck attended and of course my dearest Squadmates, 22nd Batch of Non-Commission Officers [NCO]s.

However this year, i may be the only one to attend the event. I do hope that i could enjoy this moment in life.

PS: to my graduated squadmate, till we meet again on 23th! =)

It’s only been two days and I’m blogging again.
Firstly of all, I would like to announce that I participating in the School’s Speech Day!
Not the dancing thing, but the Road Marshall duty. At least I get to wear my trusty beloved uniform and put a lanyard over.
Besides, I get to wear it to take my Prize! Which of course I would feel a sense of pride!

Yesterday, instead of attending the speech day prize giving rehearse, I went over to attend NPCC. I rather use my time teaching or at least spend time with my cadets then sit in the hall. First off, I went over to take the sec 1s drills. They seem a little tired and not really motivated and so I just did a brief one for them. Anyways one of them actually fainted and drop onto the ground. I had to carry him to cooler place under the tree to rest.

After that brought him over to the G.O. and he went home.

After drills, I went over to play Soft Ruby with my secondary 1s. Had fun! Spotted a few super fast runners.
After that my friend called me via hp to go to the hall to collect my prize. Ok and I got scolded for not attending the rehearse even thought I had CCA.

After that went over to my sec 3 squad to look at their promotion test, which is not really up to standard for a SGT. But guys, don’t be dishearten, brush your skills and I’m sure you guys can do it! one for all & all for one!

Ok, let me break some good news to my old rusty blog. I got the OARs award! Outstanding All Rounder. Thanks Ms Rajas for nominating me and ya.. give me this opportunity.

Today's a great day, tomorrow will be a even beautiful day =)

well, i just got back my new Ezlink card, which was kind of funny, the picture was actually a primary school picture, some say's it's a P1 picture so.. ya.. it was super funny...
My teacher took out a stack of Ezlink card and started giving out, as she was doing so, she started to laugh out loud! then was my turn, she was like really LOL-ing and then tears started to drip -_-

Ok i so not gona take out my ezlink card for anyone to see. haha

Anyways i was infrom by my Amath teacher that i failed my Amath. Dissappointing.
but i scored my SS, at least i'm looking a little on the bright side, i assume.
After my achievers, i went down to Sembawang Shopping Centre to get my beloved Subway!

The whole holiday, as in the past 5 days have been kind of busy for me. But let’s just start from Wednesday, the day I attended SANA.
Wednesday, I had to report back to school for my Chinese lesson and then off rush to SANA!

Once I reach there, enter the SANA room, saw so many unfamiliar faces... so many CIIs, WCIIs, CIs & WCIs, which made me feel so small. LMAO!
But... Lucky a few of them were in my age group =) and there are even younger people so I wasn't as bad.

Well, my sec 2s were there in SANA already when I arrived.
Saw them at SANA there and went over to talk to them during the break. Then suddenly someone shoot me to do briefing of 12 slides to 300 over cadets all of a sudden.
I was like, I just came today… -_- but in the end I did it.
Quickly look through the slides and started my Lecture.
Kind of nervous at first thought because the slides are edited by the SANA people and new to me of course.

Luckily everything went by smoothly and on and on through out the day until the end, had to release my sec 2s to school and off to the staff club house.

Day 2 went back somewhat same, met my friend at 7am and off to SANA
But after SANA, all of us celebrated Farhana’s Birthday.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! =)
Cakes, 4 Pizza & Drinks

Day 3 Also same, 7.30 met up with Aslam & Wee Kiat and off to SANA.
& since it's the last course day of this holiday term, the CNB officers treated us mac.. Wohoo! =)
The day went back very smoothly for me, gave lecture to the cadets, around 122 of them actually. 5pm fire drill, everyone had to go downstairs. 5.10pm to the staff club house and stayed there till 9.00pm LOL!

When I was going back, I had only enough money in my ezlink card for one ride but I had to change bus later on, so I decided to use coins first instead. \
Went up bus 85 from Seng Kang with Syak, Wee Kiat & Vincent and paid via coins.
$1 was dropped into the machine then the Bus Captain stopped me.
I was like yes?
The bus captain look at my SANA logo and said, you have to pay $1.50
I was like “ermm I’m a student."
Bus Captain: “show me your student card"

(Flash my ezlink card to him and he told me to tap it)

I was like what? I just drop a $1 coin into your machine & i told him that I have only enough money for one bus ride but i going to take another bus later on.
Bus Captain: “no no... Tap your card or you have to pay $1.50, "
By this time I got kind of pissed, I tapped my card and walked to the end of the bus where Syak, Wee Kiat & Vincent was sitting.
Explained to them why I was at the front and they told me to confront the Bus Captain for my $1.
Syak said that’s the same bus captain that confiscated his ezlink card. So he himself was kind of angry at that bus captain too, so when we alighted he stared at him and bus captain stood up and turn away.

In the end I never confront the driver, kind of lazy to do so too... have to fight for my $1, kind of not that worth it la.
I was like nvm la.. “just go home then.. But… anyone has a 20cent coin? Hehe”

Since my Card doesn’t have any money inside, I went up bus 856 and paid 70cent then the driver turn and look at me and said, show me your student card. I was like -_- Again?!
Took it out and show him and he let me in. At least this is better then the first driver.

In the bus, I was thinking... do I look that old? Haiz..

Basically I’m not really going to blog about Monday to Friday, I can’t remember what really happened.
But now, I am feeling a bit of pressure, which is good. Pressure comes from non other then my Chinese O level Papers on 1st June 09.
Fail/ (Pass)

A term has passed by, nothing really much achieve in studies or in CCA.
Why? Grades aren’t going as well, A Maths & English just passed
Chinese a big FAIL!
Science & Humanities average only, I getting what all the other average people are getting.

Ouh! I just receive information that I will be getting an award during Speech day! This means that I will be coming to watch the parade! May be take some photos of my cadets and all too =)

My sat started off at 6am, went for my shower and off to the roads on my bike at 6.15am.
My destination was Sembawang Beach. Along the way to the beach, the road was quiet, vegetation at both sides made the road look even darker, so I switch on my bike lights to signal any vehicles passing through that I was here.

Along the way, spotted 3 monks under a tree & beside the tree was a bungalow. Do they live there? 6.00+ am can’t be travel from somewhere else to a bungalow right. So now we know... monks are rich ehk!

As I was continuing my journey, I spotted a middle age Chinese guy sitting under the tree. He looks like he was drunk. By this time, I was thinking that there are so many strangle people around this area! Spotted two wild dogs which were dangerously close to me, lucky nothing happened. (Smiley face)

Reach the park by 6.33am, and found a nice spot with a bench facing the sea.
Sat there till 7am, didn’t see the sunrise thought, only the sky turn from dark to bright?
Must be clouds I presume. As I was sat down, couples after couples started to appear out & people started to appear at the jetty to fish.

7am, went back the same old route, didn’t see the dogs, monks nor the drunken guy.
Reach home by 7.15am and settled down with a cup of water and the tv on. Went to shower at 7.30am and had Mac’s Big Breakfast for breakfast.

Afternoon was boring, nothing much happened till evening 6pm.
The car park lot beside my block started to have this Chinese lion dance and Dragon dance, I don’t even know what is it all about but there were 4 lions, 2 dragons, a few dressed as priest or gods? And some praying thing…?

6th March 2009

School’s out, changed into my PT kit and went for NPCC.
Why PT kit? Someone told me we are going to play water gun which in the end did not happen. LOL!
3pm – 4pm accompany my sec 3s to the computer lab for their introduction for National Heritage badge and off to find the sec 1s after that.
Chatted with my sec 1s from 4.30pm – 5.30pm, they were an interesting group of people.
The best of all proven by them to me was that they were able to shout as long as the sec 3s! I am amazed with their work! I guess so did the teacher officers!

My bike total up to $450 in total, from bike, lock, bottle holder to lights.
I don't think I will be spending anymore on her. =)

Cycled to school today, from Sembawang to Northpoint. Met up with Marcus there and off to school. Sembawang to School took me 20mins. Not bad... if I took the bus, it would be actually 10mins (plus or minus), half the time.

Lucky me, it only rain after I reached home =) so I wasn't under the rain unlike on Monday, just got my bike and I had to cycle under the heavy down pour. I could hardy even see what’s in front of me, so I had to un-mounted my bike at the nearest bus stop to seek shelter.

Ok, enough on my lovely bike, today I got my chemistry test paper back, I got 23/25! Clap clap ehk?
But, it’s actually an average result. There were people who scored 25 and 24. So there wasn’t much to be celebrated about. Anyways thanks Ka Hee & Komathi for studying with me in Mac the previous week =) Your assistance is much appreciated.

Don't think i will be going for tomorrow's night study too, I think it's going to be boring since only a few, and i do mean a few of my classmates is coming back for that. In conclusion, i think it's better not to go =)

I GOT MY BIKE!
Wohoo!

Straight after school, went over to my mum shop with Marcus & Ka Hee and over to the bike shop.
My mum followed, since she knows the boss so, of course… DISCOUNT! Haha
HASA Comp 1.0 White, got it $400
Lock + Water Bottle Holder = $30
Total Spending for the evening was $430
This in another term means Ming Wei’s pocket is burned! Lmao.

Haven’t got the lights yet, so means even more spending.

After I got my bike, I cycled with Marcus to North Point and we went separate ways, since I’m going to Sembawang.
Happily cycling then suddenly a down pour, it’s raining, along the way home, there wasn’t any shelter at all. So I had to quickly find the nearest bus stop. The rain was so heavy that It was so hard to really look at what’s ahead & myself soak in rain.

Got to the bus stop, waited for a while, one after another biker came to seek shelter too.
Waited for like 20mins, the rain got even worst, no choice, rather go then wait any longer.
Picked up my bike, and I walked, jogged and ran all the way to my block.
Why Ran and not ride? Simple.. the road was super slippery.

Once I got home, I stood by my front gate, trying to dry myself up before entering my house.
Took a towel, dry up my bike, then pull it in my living room, admire my lovely bike for a moment, clean it even further and went for a my bathe.

Got my Bike =) , LOST $430 =(

Today's Amath Test i think i'm going to fail, thanks to those who had studied with me and taught me anyways, at least i got to understand abit more =)

Actually I wanted to post something to my sec 3 squad.. But then again, let me tell you guys personally would be better.

This Week had been a hectic week for me, test on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday which made me study almost every day for those test, but of course it's for my future, so little scarifies like this is acceptable.

Been thru all my tests, I think I should be able to at least pass all of them, so there’s no point of worrying it (smiley face)

Friday, which is today, was really tiring for me, after 2 hours of Chinese I had, I felt like sleeping already, seriously I do. This may be cause by the lack of sleep or something. I woke up 5.28am today, earlier then needed and I just stoned. (May be that’s the reason!)

NPCC as usual, took up my squad, secondary 3, one of my favorite squad to be honest! No offence to anyone ya! (Smiley Face)
While taking up drills, I had a few interruption by the CIs, so I decided to stand down for a while allowing them to have their part to do.

Had one hour drills, then was Speech Day briefing, which I decided not to join in since the NCOs are willing to take up the job, hopefully they could manage to do a good one!
Secondary 3s future NCOs, do remember to attend every training, it’s important.

After that, changed and Home Sweet Home! Or isit… haha

Had a TCS with some of my cadets & squad mates at Mac, ate and told them stories.
After they ate, they left and my other group of friends came. Lmao!
Khai, Zaily, Aliff & Me sat at Mac since like after dismissal till 8pm.

To my sec 2s that had called me, sorry for not really answering the conversation, I had a hard time figuring out who’s who with the speaker phone on and a lot of you guys speaking. Lol

Anyways I want to say, congratulation on those who had became the main personal for NPAP! Give yourself a round of applause! I proud of you!

NPCC today was rather enjoying but boring.
Abit of argument with one of my Cadet Inspector, which of course didn’t let the Cadets to see but I decided to argue no more, no point to argue right. So I just said it’s my fault and I left after trying to explain why i hold back the sec 3s for a minute, in which i already told them i need a minute but he still kept asking me.
Seriously, if one doesn’t get one’s POV nor message, then one wouldn’t be expose to his own behavior and understand others.

For the past 3 days of the sec 5’s cohort’s life, we had super achievers, by coach Elgin, Benjamin & Emma.

I had been looking for the workshop since the beginning of the week & when the day came, Wednesday. I had my long awaited 3 days of homework-less.
Adding on to that, I learn about myself, getting to know myself more, get to know more of people around me and of course it’s hard for me to explain it now, you got to be there to feel the atmosphere.

I liked most of the activities given by them, the jokes & the storys by Elgin, I’m sure I’m going to share it with my cadets.
Thinking back, he said, he once, failed in secondary 3 & 4, getting last in class but during his O level, he scored!

I reflected it to myself, Secondary 3 I was too last in class, but lucky I had peers that supported me, that studied with me, that push me, that made my run to the end of my N level results, scoring more then I expected, the top student.

I studied everyday with Ka Hee, my buddy. Sometimes even up to 2pm – 10.30pm
Questions like math, I would always ask him.

During my N level period I called Marcus, “hey man, could you come out tomorrow to teach me science?”
He said sure, and he actually taught me for that whole evening, making me understand the chapters and even tested me to be sure I know what’s going on.

Sometimes, I would ask Aziemah Amath questions, and yes she made me understood how to do it in the end.

Seow Keong & Eva, every time I study together with them, brings joy to the atmosphere, it would never be boring to study, the moral is much higher!

I wanted to share about this during the end of the whole workshop, in the AVA, but of course I didn’t, I don’t really like to show my emotion, I would just bottle it up.
The only reason now I’m typing this in is because no one could see it if I’m emotional or happy now eh (hehe). If I had spoken yesterday, I think I would be tearing already and so I wouldn’t get that happen.

When talked about Hubble, I always thought about the 3 buddies I always study with, Ka Hee, Marcus & Seow Keong, indeed we are the “A” Team!

We did the DISC assessment, and I got “S” & “C” High S.
Coach Elgin had explain a lot and all, but I’m not going to type it here, so I’m just going to type in the Wiki’s report.

Steadiness:(Submission in Marston's time): People with High S styles scores want a steady pace, security, and do not like sudden change. Low S intensity scores are those who like change and variety. High S persons are calm, relaxed, patient, possessive, predictable, deliberate, stable, consistent, and tend to be unemotional and poker faced. Ok let the post end here, since I can’t really remember all of the activities (old already) =), but then I want to also say, it’s one of the best workshop I ever attended. 3 cheers!

Today's been a long .. LONG DAY!
Morning English, took back my test paper & i passed! wohoo! ( low expectation right?)
30/50 ... the last time i failed i think i was 20+/50.
Give myself a pad on my back for minor improvement! lol

PE was Inspirational! Mr Ng took us, the whole lot of secondary 5 boys, he told us what he expected, his going to use harsh words and do the training, NS STYLE! wohoo!
40 chin ups, 15 pull ups then went to the parade square, PT!
Pumping, Run, Pumping, Run, Pumping Run.
I endured my wrist till near the end of the last set of pumping, my wrist started to can't take it anymore, had to just stop, didn't complete the last 2 diamond push ups.

Then leg risers, hold for 20 seconds, 40 seconds and 10 seconds, short ehh? lol
Everyone shouted the timing all the way and our class! it was more then the word 'Fun' can handle.

After that was lessons all the way to 4pm, nothing special, the usual stuff.
After which discuss abit about the T shirt we are going to print, it's not a class thing, but just a group Shirt i guess. So if i didn't ask the whole class, don't be surprise nor worried, your not out.

last but not least, Lawerance called just now, " ming wei, tomorrow whole day free or not? "
Ming Wei:" tomorrow i got school all the way to 4pm"
Lawerance:" ouh ya, i forgot you got school"
Ming Wei:" Ya, Ming Wei in secondary 5" lol

& the reason why he called, tomorrow they having SANA! argh -_- i want to go man!
they are going to some primary school =)
ok nevermind, i asked him for a sat or sun slot, but nothing so far... awww....

Alright, putting this aside, i went to visit a Chinese doctor after my school ended just now.
Why?
Funny Story, I was playing soccer, fell & my whole body impact on to my wrist.
Weird? Yes! Totally!

Ok, I had my first ever a-cu-punch-er?
I don’t know how to spell it.. so just let the pictures explain by itself.

Ok let me recall what happened yesterday, school as usual, but also commemorated Total Defense Day.
As the safety officer of the class, I tried to did my part during the mass evaluation, but some people just don’t have the sense of agency, take an awfully long time to assemble at the parade square. Marcus actually shouted at the two slow person, which I did not, because I think it’s really up to them, if there’s a real fire, I think I will just run in push them out and pull them all the way down instead.

Food Ration for this year was a bun and a bottle of new water.
After the mass evaluation, went up to the hall to listen to a talk about Total Defense.
Took off at 1pm to class for my Chinese achievers. Everyone was kind of restless so we went for lunch at 1.30pm since there wasn’t any teacher. Back to school at 2.10pm, change and went down for NPCC.

During NPCC, today, I scolded a lot during drills because of the poor attitude of some cadets, from basic stuff like Uniform to stupid excuses.
Brought them up withdraw their bags, fall in front of the toilet. Gave them 7 minutes for them to change & I actually changed with them. All of us took just a mere 6 minutes, that’s a great improvement from there usual 15 minutes. (Give yourself a clap)

After we changed, went down to clean up the Air Rifle Range because of all the Air Pistol shooting thing, they left a mess of small little bullets. 20min Gone…
Went up to Parade Square, PT!
Sorry didn’t really join in the PT guys, as stated my wrist is injured.

After all of the activities end, a short debrief, talk abit here and there & off to meet Aziemah & Eva to KFC with Khairul & Zaily. Ok, Aziemah went back, so only the 4 of us were at KFC. After some time, a few of my cadets also came. [ Clap Clap]

After drinking my Ice Lemon Tea, off to home, relax, was kind of jaded to do anything after that. 9.45pm my mother called, saying that her bag was snatched at Chong Pang. Quickly ask her location and a I took a taxi down straight away. When I reach somewhere there, I saw a police car, so I told the taxi uncle to stop the taxi. Off the taxi quickly went over to find my mum, both hands & legs injured, two of my uncles was there and her co worker. Another two police car came over, made up a total of 3 and even an ambulance was activated.

Used a bit of my First Aid Skills, told her to relax her legs first, suspect fracture, medic arrived, told her everything’s fine but her leg may be fracture too. Told her to go hospital for a X Ray just in case and I was off, sitting in the ambulance at the front sit with the driver and two medic at the back with her.

The Medic at the back asked me for my HP because my mother wants to use it, I took out my HP, unlock and pass it to him. Then he saw my wall paper and was like Oo!
My wall paper is actually my SI rank, Beret & Drill Cane.

Reached Tan Tock Seng, crowed with people, my aunt & uncle came over, told me to transfer her to Mount Alivania Hospital, so off we went to Mount Alivania Hospital (private hospital) CID followed us there too. When for this and that check , and off to X Ray, along the way, my mother give the CID as much information as possible
CID wrote down all the report and all then asked me to key in his number in my phone because my mum lost hers, so I took out my phone unlock and asked him whats the number. He turned and then saw my Wallpaper; again he was giving the Oo! Look lol

After that got to the X-Ray room, check, then to the doctor again, was told everything’s fine. Stayed at the hospital with her till 2.30am then took the medicine, offered to pay with my nets, $342.00+ then my uncle asked me, enough or not? I was like ya enough don’t worry…and off home. I’m so broke now.

Reached home 3am, ask my maid to get hot water, then I went to take a small towel, wet it and give it to my mum to wipe her face, arms and legs. Then she went to her room to sleep and off I’m to my room for bed too, was super tired already.

Morning 7.44am, my uncle called, so I pass my phone to my mum and waited for her to end the conversation and off to bed, again my uncle called this goes on for another 3 times and then my aunt called. My mother knock on my door ask me got any keys to open up the save and all, I said no. she ask again I said no.. then off to bed again. 9+ my mum woke me up again, lock the door and she’s off to her shop to get a locksmith to open up her shops.

I went back to sleep again, 9+ CISCO called, I told them call my mum shop instead. 10+ my uncle called again. Then my mum called me a few times herself too. Now the phone ringing sound made me sick.

Locksmith came over my house, open up the save and I paid another $35. ARGH! There goes my savings! Lmao.

Ok by now you must be wondering whats in my mother’s bag, over $10K cash, some gold chains, HP & keys to house, shops, saves. 4 Cards to ATM , NRIC, a lot a lot more…
It’s actually 2 people, one Malay, one Chinese who pushed my mother and snatch the purse, one couple came by helped her and another use bike chase.
Another two foreign workers came by and gave chase to. Ok thanks for the kind hearted people!

Recently I been listening more than I really voice out in class, sitting at the back of the class made me realised even more how some people acted and how they may cause discomfort to others. I had already wittiness some ridicules people doing some senseless things in my class. What had happened to them, I may not know, be it family or relationships, it’s for them & them themselves to know.

I just don’t understand, why would one cause harm to have fun? This isn’t humane nor is it right. If seeing one suffer under your own hands brought joy to you, then I think you should consult a psychology.

I will not pin-point anyone here, since my blog is known by many of my classmates so that’s all I’m going to say before I cause any misunderstanding.

This post is not to offend any of my classmates, it’s just my little point of view.
I don’t like taking action to interfer with others problem but if I do, things will get ugly & that’s why I’m just sitting and observing silently…

it's Saturday today, got tons of homework to complete, English essay to Chinese essay, Chem worksheet, chinese reflection, Tuition homework and spelling to be done.
Not forgetting the Amath worksheet and also the EOY paper 1.
but lazy me, only done my English Essay. Still got to revise my Amath & Geo test!

Ok never the less, Friday, as all usual Fridays, attended NPCC, Sec 3 attendants increased but Punctuality is still all time low. Coming late and does things slowly. Time loss = big problem.

Saw some improvements here and there from each individual but there's still room for improvements!
Some of you guys enjoyed the training, saying that it was fun as i asked around, thats the spirit!
Hopefully you guys will always have fun coming to the unit, as i want to teach and not make you guys suffer.
We, in the end didn't had games as decided by you guys is due to the fact that it took you guys awfully long to get change & settle down. My apology to you guys that we didn't play the game but do remember, changing time isn't chit chat time in the toilet.

Overall, the training was alright but you guys need to improve on your Punctuality! I hope you guys really enjoyed the training while learning or refreshing up your drills & i hope to see the strength of the squad to be maintain or even increase. Speaking of all this, i see some of you guys bonded well, but always remember, bond as a squad not just a few of your friends.
Didn't had the time to debrief you guys in school so i did a short one on msn to a few of you. Positive feedback... VERY GOOD!

After NPCC went to have dinner with Aziemah, Eva, Zaily & Khairul at KFC. Ok, my apology, we were kinda quiet lol. I, myself felt a little sleepy then, thats why i didn't talk much =P.
After Dinner went home, took out whatever needed to be done to my uniform, shower and done up the CDL project, ' Addiction - Drugs '. Done up 7 sildes already! wohoo! 70% done!
Now just waiting for Ka hee & Komathi to summit their work and it's all done!
