SINGAPORE: Hours after Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said hirings will be brought forward as part of counter-cyclical measures, the Home Affairs Ministry said it is looking to fill about 1,000 vacancies.
These vacancies are in all home team agencies - the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), Police, Civil Defence, the Prisons Service and the Central Narcotics Bureau.
The largest number of vacancies available is in the Police Force, where 470 positions are available, followed by ICA with 300.
To give job applicants a preview of the careers available in the Home Team, the ministry will be launching a coordinated Home Team recruitment event next month.
Details of this event will be made known nearer to the date.
Today's Sentosa Trip went well, reach there waited for the rest, then proceed to Vivo for lunch and then sentosa. made a few new friends? we all played a few sports, which i was constantly tired! Must be the effect of not exercising regularly! so what to do now? PT! PT! for stamina!
After everything, went back to vivo for dinner and off we go home!
Lesson learned, next time go to Sentosa, remember to bring a set of clothings!

Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication, or by having taken precautions to conceal the name or abode of the person from whom the threat comes, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years, in addition to the punishment provided for the offence by section 506.
