Day 1 vietnam trip
took flight 3k 553 to ho chin min city
went to terminal 1
it's the 1st time i took a plane.. and i was siting beside the window!
too bad some part the wings of the plane covered my view..
anyways the plane was jet star, budget air line.. small plane..
we took the plane with canberra sec school.. which the pilot introduce our school onboard!
not bad for a government school!
haha
anyways once i reach there, Vietnam, the air port was full of people, the arriving hall was none AC..
which i reflect back to Singapore.. how great our World Class Airport is today!
once we reach there we went on board our bus
went for lunch which turn out theres no HALAL sign or what so ever
so the Muslim friends didn't had anything till the bread was bought to them.. sad-ering to see that ..
the next few days we all had to sat a different tables for our meals..

anyways.. due to the delay for the bread, we didn't went for the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park & Furniture Factory.
however went to the handicraft village which saw how the products was made and so on..
the stuff there was kinda ex.. and nth much interest me .. so i didn't get anything there...

Shopping which i brought 2 Adidas shirt 89k dong = around $8 SGD...

after that we went to this "Singapore" stall which they have Muslim food..
sat there with my squad mates for our meal..
great times!

back to hotel and hakim & me got the biggest room of all! wohoo!
ours was the cleanest too!
no insects wahaha!
two double bed! which others were two single bed or 1 double bed..
each room was shared by two people..

Day 2..
woke up.. had our breakfast!
and then went to the Cu Chi Tunnel..
2 hour drive there..
along the way.. went to stop and tired how to make some kind of food..

most of the people were sleeping.. kinda bored..
once we reach there.. i we went to walk around and understand how the people live and fight there..
hided under the small cramp tunnel..
after that i challenge one of my cadets 20 rounds .. who can shoot the small red cone.. while others where shooting the bigger target.. lol
none of the bullets went in for both of us..
anyways i shoot AK-47 and a pistol ammo size was like two times bigger the the AK..
lol
super loud but was a great experience..

went into the tunnel..lucky i was in front .. because of the small cramp tunnel.. one of my squadmate got stuck..
lol man.. had to stop everyone and ask for a torch light to shine at him so that he could move.. the GG was stuck behind due to that..
haha
ms rajas was like breathless already.. lol
anyways the tunnel was around 100m + ?
great exp la!

after that 2 hour bus ride back to the city..
had lunch the same place as our dinner and mr yeung & i was interviewed by a local Vietnam channel.. lol
The hong bang university for a culture exchange..
was welcomed by their students there.. hmm and was each of us were siting in between the students there..
they showed us some of their country was like while Mr Yeung show them ours..
SINGAPORE!

went for a short shopping trip if i remember correctly and went for dinner at a restaurant... sat with the guides and one of my cadet.. lol
ok nvm la....
went back to hotel.. slack!

Day 3
went for breakfast
and a 3 hour drive to Cai Be floating market..
i got super tan there.. wohoo!
anyways saw how people live there and how they sell their stuff..
buy using a pole they tie stuff they wanted to sell on top and then if someone wanted to buy they could see it from a distance..
smart idea!
went to land to see how some of the stuff was made..
like coconut candy and so on..
had some local snacks there and so on..
went to watch a play opera
went back to the boat and to a restaurant.. had lunch and back to the boat and back to land..
took a very long time.. haha
anyways back to land.. had our dinner at this restaurant..
i kinda like that place.. sweet and quiet.. and theres this three person playing music..
love it!
anyways we had shopping.. decided to spend my money! argh! last time to really shop..
had two more Adidas Shirt.. 60k Dong hehe Singapore $5.45 SGD =P
a jeans actually was 420k dong then i just keep saying don't want the price keep on dropping till 200k dong.. hehe around $18SGD
brought a slippers and also some stuff for my mum and sis..
anyways went back to hotel and slack.. last night lei! haha
my cadets were having pumping by Mr Yeung because the girls went to the male room.. dots man..
they should have just stayed in their rooms..

Day 4..
so soon it's Day 4 already time really was fast..
the fastest 4 days!
woke up late.. anyways got to thank my squadmate for giving me a morning call!
hehe
didn't had breakfast.. didn't really wana eat anyways..
so check out and went to the orphanage..
see how they live in was really sad-ering for me..
hmm.. not much welfare ..
120 plus girls was like sharing may be 3 rooms..
after that a short time to shop.. quickly go get a bag for to put my extra stuff in.. haha
price was from 170k to 160k then mr yeung ask again.. the boss say ok la 150k haha
the bag was around $13.63 SGD then hehe
anyways.. after that to the restaurant and air port!
ended the day so soon..
back to singapore was already around 6.. took taxi back and home sweet home!
