From 1 January next year, smoking will also be prohibited at children's playgrounds, exercise areas, markets, underground and multi-storey carparks, ferry terminals and jetties.
The ban will also be extended to non-air conditioned areas in offices, factories, shops, shopping complexes and lift lobbies.
The government is extending the smoking ban so as to offer greater protection to non-smokers. "

Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication, or by having taken precautions to conceal the name or abode of the person from whom the threat comes, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years, in addition to the punishment provided for the offence by section 506.
